Description

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Sr. Logistics & Optimization Analyst who is responsible for the foundational analytics within the Logistics Center of Excellence (CoE), owning logistics dashboards, KPI visibility, and performance insights across the network. The role also supports savings tracking, process standardization, ERP-enabled improvements, and light project coordination. This is a hands-on position focused on turning data into actions that improve service, reduce costs, and support logistics savings delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for executive, strategic, and operational audiences (freight, warehousing/3PL, trade compliance)
  • Define and maintain KPI dictionary and reporting governance (definitions, owners, refresh cadence, exception handling) to support a single source of truth
  • Trade compliance analytics and dashboards: broker performance, clearance cycle time, holds/exams, documentation defects, entry accuracy, and duty/fee leakage
  • Develop lane profiles and cost-to-serve/should cost models; support transportation and 3PL RFPs (bid normalization, market comparative benchmarks, award scenarios)
  • Collect and normalize supplier non-managed freight data and incoterms; identify opportunities to convert lanes to managed freight and improve compliance to routing guidance
  • Build total landed-cost models incorporating freight, accessorial, duties/taxes/fees, brokerage, and cycle-time impacts
  • Support freight controls: accessorial leakage analysis, invoice integrity checks (rate conformance), and claims reporting/recovery tracking
  • Consolidate and validate data from carriers, 3PLs, brokers/forwarders, suppliers, and internal systems (ERP/Finance) into trusted datasets
  • Support API/EDI integration efforts by defining requirements, mapping fields, and validating test outputs to automate data flow
  • Process development: draft and standardize SOPs/playbooks (routing guide, escalation, claims, broker governance, QBR templates) and support rollout
  • Program support: maintain action logs, milestone tracking, and project performance dashboards for logistics initiatives
