Requirements:

  • Lead end-to-end sales process from pipeline generation to closing, including inbound/outbound prospecting and accurate Salesforce forecasting
  • Collaborate with Technical Solution Architect and Product Solution Architect to design client solutions and deliver demos of Aduro’s software stack (FundPanel, General Ledger Software, Treasury Management) to GPs and CFOs
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and strategic targeting by using ICP data and client stories to qualify opportunities and optimize the sales pipeline
  • Partner with Marketing, RevOps, and Partnerships to optimize lead quality, pricing/proposals, event strategy, and coach junior sales team to hit KPIs along with the VP of Sales

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales and Business Development to shape and implement a strategy to expand our Venture Capital and Private Equity client base. This person should be an experienced sales leader and creative problem solver, be highly organized and have a passion for technology. This role is remote but candidates must be located in the San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York City greater metropolitan areas.

The ideal Director of Sales and Business Development candidate is an execution-minded closer who thrives on outbound prospecting, inbound conversion, and rigorous process management. This individual needs to clearly articulate the Aduro service and product offering to Venture Capital and Private Equity GPs and CFOs. Ideal candidates possess robust sales experience, passion for relationship building and growth mindset. 


Here is the type of work you will do:

  • Product Mastery: Gain deep fluency in Aduro’s full-service suite and FundPanel’s technical capabilities to lead high-level discussions on Aduro’s offering and key differentiators with sophisticated audiences of GPs and CFOs
  • Competitive Intelligence: Maintain a real-time pulse on the fund administration market to position Aduro effectively against legacy and emerging competitors
  • Strategic Targeting: Leverage ICP data and current client success stories to qualify prospects and determine "best-fit" opportunities for the sales pipeline
  • Run the sales process from end to end including:
  • Pipeline generation via new market opportunities, partnerships (in collaboration with our Director of Partnerships) and strategic ecosystem engagement
  • Management and conversion of a strong pipeline of inbound leads 
  • Accurate entry of key prospect information in Salesforce and maintenance of Salesforce as prospects move through the sales pipeline, leveraging best-in-class sales technology solutions to support accurate revenue forecasting
  • Lead prospective client calls providing an overview of our service and product offering, including comprehensive assessment of prospective clients needs and pain points
  • Collaborate with Technical Solution Architect and Product Solution Architect to design a client solution that highlights Aduro capabilities in response to prospect-specific pain points, with demos of Aduro's software stack i.e., FundPanel, General Ledger Software, Treasury Management, etc.
  • Collaborate with RevOps on pricing/proposals and Marketing to provide real-time feedback on lead quality and conversion tactics.
  • Partner with Marketing team to optimize and action MQLs with focus on improving conversion and shortening sales cycle
  • Collaborate with Director of Partnerships on event strategy for pipeline generation and attend industry events as an Aduro representative 
  • Alongside the VP of Sales and Business Development, coach junior sales team members on best practices to hit KPIs and revenue targets


On-target earnings for the Director of Sales and Business Development position is $350,000-400,000, This role is also eligible to participate in Aduro’s equity plan. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level. This role must be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York City.

Requirements

Salary Description
OTE is $350,000 - $400,000
