Roles & Responsibilities

  • 8+ years of Oracle EBS development experience
  • Experience in Oracle EBS R12 (preference for R12.2.x)
  • Strong SQL/PL-SQL programming skills with knowledge of 3PL/Logistics Management
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS SCM modules (Procurement, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, WMS, Shipping) and related base tables; knowledge of O2S and P2P cycles

Requirements:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable logistics solutions using Oracle Cloud OTM, GTM, Order Management, Warehouse Management, and Inventory capabilities; identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OTM, GTM, Order Management, and inventory configurations; perform root-cause analysis and deliver timely fixes for urgent shipping issues
  • Develop applications in Oracle EBS modules (Supply Chain and Finance); convert business requirements into technical design documents and implement solutions; participate in Agile/Scrum processes (Jira)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to collect requirements, work with multi-location teams, and participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure quality and timely delivery

How You Will Contribute:

  • Improvements/bug fixes in Oracle Applications interfaces, custom reporting, forms and custom applications.
  • You will lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable solution in logistics and distribution using Oracle cloud OTM, GTM, order management, warehouse management and inventory capabilities and lead the identification of opportunities for improvement.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders including Supply Chain and Logistics Business Users, external implementation team, AMS Partner, Product team, Ciena PMO Teams and internal IT Teams, you will drive projects in logistics and distribution.
  • You will interact with the business and work with multi location teams to plan the activities required to meet project deadlines.
  • You will provide support for OTM, GTM, Order Management, inventory configurations and peripheral logistics management systems, troubleshooting issues. Identifying root causes and debugging & delivering robust timely fixes in case of urgent shipping issues.
  • Application development in Oracle EBS modules. (Supply Chain & Finance)
  • As needed, Oracle SR documentation and information requirements.
  • Work with business/service owners to capture requirements
  • Working experience on Agile and Jira preferred.
  • Convert business requirements into technical design documents, develop and implement the solution.
  • Improvements efforts from conception through deployment.
  • Deliver solutions timely and ensure satisfy internal customers.
  • Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must Haves:

  • Must have minimum 8+ years of experience in providing Oracle EBS development.
  • Experience in Oracle EBS R12 required, with strong preference given to those with R12.2.x experience.
  • Knowledge of 3PL, Logistics Management and SQL
  • PL/SQL programming advanced skills and experience.
  • Strong familiarity with Oracle EBS base tables and views in SCM modules - Procurement, OM, Purchasing, Inventory, WMS, Shipping. Should be familiar with O2S and P2P cycles.
  • Experience using Oracle EBS open interface APIs, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms Developer, Oracle workflow, XML Publisher. OAF will be an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills – including the use of written, electronic, and verbal communication.
  • Sound reasoning, analytical, and problem solving aptitude; Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
