Requirements:

  • Lead generation outreach: research and identify potential clients; conduct outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and social media; track responses, follow-ups, and interest levels in Google Drive; set up appointments or pre-qualify leads
  • Administrative/marketing support: upload and maintain information in shared spreadsheets; support basic marketing or communication tasks; maintain accurate records of outreach and responses
  • General support: assist with ad-hoc tasks to support founder and team; ensure organized workflows and timely follow-ups
  • Collaborate with founder and team to align outreach with business goals and provide status updates on progress

Job description

This is a remote position.

An innovative start-up founder is seeking a motivated part-time Lead Generator & Sales Support to help grow their business. This is a remote, independent contracting role initially requiring 1–2 hours per week, with potential to increase as the role and company develop. While this role is primarily remote, candidates in the Gauteng region who can attend occasional in-office meetings are preferred.


Responsibilities:


Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Research and identify potential clients and contacts
  • Conduct outreach via email, telephone, LinkedIn, and social media 
  • Track responses, follow-ups, and interest levels in Google Drive 
  • Set up appointments or pre-qualify leads

Administrative & Marketing Support
  • Upload and maintain information in shared spreadsheets
  • Support basic marketing or communication tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and responses

General Support
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks to support founder and team
  • Ensure organised workflows and timely follow-ups


Requirements



  • Previous experience in lead generation, sales outreach, or sales support
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, Google Drive, and online communication tools
  • Self-starter, organised, and able to work independently
  • Professional communication skills, friendly and approachable
  • Must have own laptop and reliable internet



Salary: R 280 plus airtime allowance
