Position Title: Sales Research Specialist
Work Set-up: Work From Home
Schedule: 9am to 5pm NSW Time
Salary: 30K to 35K pesos
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven Sales Research Specialist to support a fast-growing, AI-driven technology company in the aged care and disability services sector.
This role is critical in building and maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline by conducting in-depth prospect research, ensuring CRM accuracy, and equipping the sales team with actionable insights before every engagement. As the business scales, you will play a key role in ensuring that sales efforts are targeted, informed, and efficient. As a Sales Research Specialist:
You are the engine behind the sales pipeline. You identify, research, and enrich high-quality leads that align with the Ideal Customer Profile. You ensure that the CRM is always accurate, organised, and actionable. You transform raw data into meaningful insights by preparing concise, high-impact briefing materials that enable the sales team to engage prospects with confidence. You take ownership of research quality, data integrity, and process improvement, while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and outcomes.
Your Responsibilities as a Sales Research Specialist would be:
Prospect Research & Lead Generation
Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Apollo, and similar platforms.
Identify key decision-makers (e.g. CEOs, COOs, CTOs, Heads of Quality, Operations Managers) within disability and aged care organisations in Australia.
Enrich lead data with relevant company and contact information, including size, structure, technology stack, and contact details.
Monitor industry signals and sources to identify organisations that may be in an active buying cycle.
CRM Management (HubSpot)
Maintain accurate, clean, and up-to-date records across contacts, companies, and deals.
Update pipeline stages and log activities in alignment with the sales team.
Ensure data hygiene through deduplication and consistent record management.
Generate basic reports to support pipeline visibility and performance tracking.
Pre-Meeting Research & Briefing Preparation
Conduct detailed research on prospects and organisations prior to sales meetings.
Prepare concise briefing documents highlighting key insights, potential pain points, and relevant context.
Analyse publicly available information such as company updates, compliance status, and technology usage.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Track competitor activity, including product updates, pricing, and positioning.
Monitor industry trends, events, and opportunities within the aged care and disability sector.
Identify potential partnership and collaboration opportunities.
Process Improvement & Organisation
Develop and document standard operating procedures for research and CRM workflows.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Maintain organised systems for storing and retrieving research outputs.
Qualifications as a Sales Research Specialist:
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
At least 1 year of experience in sales support, lead generation, research, or CRM administration.
Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).
Familiarity with lead generation and enrichment tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Apollo, ZoomInfo, etc.).
Proficiency in Google Workspace and communication tools such as Slack.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to synthesise information into clear, actionable insights.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage recurring tasks independently.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to identify gaps and suggest improvements.
Growth mindset with interest in expanding into broader sales support or client-facing roles over time.
