The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that Pall technologies are specified in customers’ filtration/purification applications and influencing the specification to maximize benefits to Pall. This associate will drive business growth in their region by the combination of new customer identification / development and existing customer growth. They will partner with Territory Sales Managers (TSM’s) to ensure Pall is the preferred supplier of solutions for large Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects related to Semiconductor Fab construction and expansion.
The Business Development Manager works closely with regional Sales manager(s) to maximize the use of funnel management in terms of both funnel size and funnel wins. The primary function is to manage Capex strategic growth opportunities within the region and support the TSM’s as needed to identify and then win potential new business.
This position reports to the Eastern Regional Sales, MicroE America is part of the MicroE Commercial organization located within region and will be working remotely to cover the US East Coast.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between Pall and customers for Win the Spec (WTS), CapEx and strategic growth opportunities.
Develop customer engagement strategies including a broad array of internal and external stakeholders and influencers including senior management, sales, marketing, technology,etc.
Identify gaps in products to meet technical requirements, aligning with internal Pall marketing team to build industry wide Pall solutions.
Supports sales funnel reviews and Growth Room activities
Supports Large Capital and must win projects directly linked to Win the Spec
The essential requirements of the job include:
5+ years’ experience working directly with customers in the Microelectronics Industry, with an understanding of market and targeted customer ecosystem
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Technical discipline (or equivalent technical sales experience)
Track record of driving strategic growth and delivering meaningful financial results
Development and implementation of client engagement strategies that involve a broad array of internal and external stakeholders including executive management, sales, marketing, technology, etc.
Solid negotiations skills with the ability to assess situations, formulate decisions, and act quickly
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50%; overnight; including occasionally international
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lb, any other physical requirements
Valid Driver's license
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Semiconductor industry and account management experience
2+ years’ experience selling into the Microelectronics (integrated device manufacturing)
2+ years’ experience within Filtration, Contamination Control, and/or High Purity Fluid Process Control products

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
