  • Provide pre- and post-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, training, and support territory sales objectives for customers, sales team and channel partners

The Lab Filtration Sales Specialist is responsible for deepening presence in high-growth emerging markets, strengthening application-led selling, expanding the consumables business & supporting discovery, research, and bioprocess innovation.

Given South India’s strategic importance and the depth of life sciences activity in the region,  Lab Filtration Specialist is critical to capturing market potential, driving revenue growth, and strengthening our leadership position. This role directly enables both commercial success and enhanced customer engagement.

This position reports to the Lab filtration Business Leader and is part of the India Discovery Commercial Team located in Bengaluru and will be working remotely to cover the assigned region.  At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

  • Financial Performance & Business Planning - Accountable to achieve orders & sales OP target for accounts/territory. Create a business plan for territory/assigned accounts including, but not limited to opportunity development, competitive strategies & targets.
  • Relationships - Build strong relationships & formulate account strategies to continuously strengthen relationships within the assigned territories/account. Provide feedback to the wider commercial teams on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings. Ability to work with Channel partners and channel partner team for market coverage, business growth and healthy product mix.
  • Work and communicate closely with India Lab Filtration leader to set strategies, execute strategies & tactics, report numbers, share best practices and get any kind of help & solutions.
  • Responsible for providing pre and post-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, training and supporting territory sales objectives for customers, sales team and channel partners
  • Technical Expertise - Continuously develop and learn about your portfolio and related sales skills to drive business in a compliant way

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's / Masters Degree preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field (Previous experience in Applied Markets, Life Sciences, biomedical engineering, medical physics) or Life Sciences field experience mandatory.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who can work autonomously. A strong team player/ with an ability to work strong cross-functionally for success in the life sciences/applied markets arena

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel in the assigned territory
