About the Role
Are you passionate about quality and driven by the challenge of building reliable, scalable products? We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of our testing strategy and raise the bar for quality across our entire product suite.
You'll be a key player in shaping how we think about quality, working side by side with developers, product managers, and technical leads to build robust, automated testing solutions from the ground up. You will focus on testing the Appointment Scheduling and Knowledge Management products at Engageware, playing a critical role in delivering seamless experiences to thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend applications.
- Write and maintain test scenarios using Gherkin under BDD methodology.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Behave, and Selenium.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration tests.
- Validate end-to-end flows at both the user interface (frontend) and services/API (backend) levels.
- Design and execute API tests using tools such as Postman.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into development pipelines where applicable.
Technical Requirements
- Experience in test automation with Python.
- Experience in data validation and database testing (MySQL, Amazon Redshift).
- Experience using Behave for BDD-based testing and Gherkin.
- Experience in UI test automation with Selenium.
- Experience executing and automating functional tests, regression tests, integration tests, and end-to-end validation in web applications.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
- Experience in bug management and task tracking using Jira.
- Experience working with version control using Git.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience designing test cases and automated test suites.
- Knowledge of AWS services is a plus.

Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
