Requirements:

  • Lead and provide guidance to an assigned team of Corporate Trust Associate Relationship Managers, handling CRM II/III responsibilities to cultivate significant client relationships.
  • Manage day-to-day administration of institutional/corporate trust accounts, including billing of administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating bond closings, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities, and executing payments.
  • Review legal documents and collaborate with corporate legal, compliance and outside counsel to negotiate provisions and ensure operational mechanics are appropriate; respond to compliance exceptions.
  • Drive business development and governance activities: price business based on account structure, recommend new business for approval, disseminate financial information to the EMMA system, and participate in cross-training and other duties as assigned.

Job description

This role will lead and provide guidance and direction to an assigned team of Corporate Trust Associate Relationship Managers. This role will also be able to handle all levels of responsibilities that the CRM III, II and I perform in cultivating highly significant customer relationships. Resolve ALL administrative issues and provide support to any level client staff Provide guidance to junior staff Operate independently to service the largest clients and resolve the most complex issues Provides day to day support to existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing for administrative fees, recommending fee increases, facilitating bond closing, handling cash and investment transactions, monitoring cash activities, providing debt service calculations, executing payment generation and follow up Recommend and submit new business for approval from the new business committee made up of the senior leadership team in Corporate Trust Price business based on account structure compared to existing business. Disseminates financial information to the EMMA system (as required) Responsible for accurate/timely setup of issues on all systems, preparing accounts for compliance review and responding appropriately to compliance exceptions Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate Work with corporate legal, compliance and outside legal counsel to negotiate document provisions Participate in cross training to learn other Corporate Trust roles and provide support, as needed Other duties as assigned Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 7 years relevant experience Demonstrates strong client relationship management skills Demonstrates successful networking skills and the ability to establish a network of strategic contacts Demonstrates ability to provide positive client experience through a variety of methods including associate engagement, technology, workflows and processing Demonstrated strong strategic and critical thinking abilities Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and timelines Demonstrates the ability to drive change through business planning Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Demonstrates general knowledge of banking products and services Demonstrates the ability to be self directed

Compensation Range:

$69,230.00 - $149,000.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
