About The Role:

This part-time opportunity (22.8 hours per week) will see you supporting our Manukau team as a Radiology Support Officer, playing a key role in delivering timely and accurate patient care.

This is a fast-paced, team-based role providing essential support to our Radiologists to ensure timely and accurate reporting of imaging studies.

Working remotely, you will play a key role in managing workflows, coordinating communication, and ensuring critical cases are prioritised appropriately.

Responsibilities Include

• Supporting Radiologists with queries to ensure timely reporting of critical studies
• Managing incoming calls and liaising with clinics and stakeholders
• Monitoring and managing reporting worklists across multiple sites
• Allocating and load balancing studies based on Radiologist skillset and availability
• Investigating and following up incomplete or missing examinations
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the team

About You

• Previous experience in a healthcare, administration or support role (radiology experience highly regarded)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across multiple stakeholders
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Confident using multiple systems and technology platforms
• A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to patient outcomes
