Senior Shopify Developer (DTC / CRO-Focused) — North America Only

We’re hiring a senior, hands-on Shopify developer to own our website experience end-to-end.

This is not a typical dev role — you are expected to think in conversion, speed, and revenue, not just code.

This role replaces an external agency. You will operate as the owner of the Shopify experience.

To be considered, you MUST:

1. Be currently based in the United States or Canada
2. Submit 2–3 live Shopify stores or landing pages you personally built
3. Include a 2–3 minute Loom video explaining:
   • One landing page you built
   • What you changed
   • How it improved conversion
4. Include your LinkedIn profile with consistent work history

What You’ll Be Responsible For

1) Landing Page Development (Primary Focus)

• Build high-converting landing pages from Figma
• Ship fast (hours, not days)
• Improve UX, layout, and conversion during implementation
• Create variants for testing

2) Shopify Development (Full Ownership)

• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, JS, HTML/CSS
• Build reusable sections and scalable architecture
• Implement new features and troubleshoot issues independently

3) CRO & Experimentation

• Launch A/B tests and landing page variations
• Identify conversion bottlenecks and fix them
• Optimize PDPs, funnels, and mobile experience

4) Performance & Code Quality

• Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code

5) Website Rebuild

• Contribute to full site rebuild
• Build templates, components, and new structures
• Maintain live site while rebuilding

• You can build a page in hours, not days
• Conversion rate improves over time
• Site performance improves
• Minimal oversight required

🔧 Requirements (Strict)

Must-Have

• 5+ years hands-on Shopify development
• Strong in:
  • Shopify Liquid
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
  • Theme architecture
• Proven experience building DTC landing pages

You MUST be able to:

• Take Figma → production quickly and independently
• Improve layouts (not just implement them)
• Think in conversion, not just development

Do NOT Apply If:

• You are not based in North America
• You cannot share live Shopify work you personally built
• You are a “ticket-taker” developer
• You rely heavily on project managers or designers for direction
• You have no real CRO or DTC experience

Compensation

• $60K–$80K USD
• Full-time or contractor
• Remote (North America only)
