Overview:

We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist with strong expertise in cost management, forecasting, and cash flow control to join our dynamic and collaborative project delivery team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our projects remain financially healthy, commercially sound, and aligned with client expectations.

You will work alongside experienced project and cost management professionals, contributing to major programmes across innovative and fast‑growing sectors. The Opportunity:

In this role you will: 

  • Lead cost control activities including project cost tracking, budget development, cost reconciliation, and variance analysis.
  • Manage project cash flow, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely reporting, and early identification of potential risks or deviations.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve cost‑related data management processes, tools, and reporting systems.
  • Develop and present monthly executive cost reports, cost dashboards, and financial risk summaries for key stakeholders.
  • Review and assess contractor and engineer bids, pricing proposals, change notices, and cost submissions to ensure best value.
  • Support the preparation of Work Breakdown Structures and cost coding structures to improve financial transparency.
  • Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams on cost negotiations and contract pricing alignment.
  • Contribute to schedule‑cost integration to improve project performance insights and forecasting accuracy.

  • Have demonstrated experience implementing cost & schedule management work processes 
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of Work Breakdown Structure and project Coding structures 
  • Have experience with program reporting - decks, dashboards,and excel
  • Have successfully performed project controls roles including cost control, scheduling and estimating 
  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline 

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.

 

The salary range for this role is between $84,000 and $112,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
