We need an English-fluent QA Lead, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement the overall QA strategy aligned with business and product goals
Establish, optimize, and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices
Lead, mentor, and support a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Coordinate and oversee multiple types of testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, etc.) across concurrent projects
Perform risk and impact analysis to adjust testing scope, priorities, and methodologies accordingly
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ensure seamless delivery
Actively participate in hands-on testing activities when needed, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking

Requirements:

3+ Proven experience in a QA Lead or Senior QA role
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience managing and mentoring QA teams
Ability to handle multiple projects and testing streams simultaneously
Strong analytical skills with experience in risk-based testing approaches
Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

It´s a Plus:

Experience with test automation frameworks
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Compensation:

The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,500 - $4,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
