Finance Manager

Location: Remote from Cyprus or Europe
Reporting to: Head of Finance

Your mission

• Act as the primary partner for Product, Engineering and Technology teams, ensuring tech investments translate into measurable financial outcomes.

• Track the end-to-end lifecycle of initiatives, from initial business case to realized ROI utilizing metrics like NPV, IRR and payback periods.

• Monitor budgets versus actual spend for internal and external costs, proactively identifying variances and highlighting financial risks or overruns.

• Assess and document the capitalization eligibility of development costs and maintain accurate amortization schedules in line with accounting standards.

• Provide senior leadership with the visibility and insights needed to improve capital allocation and prioritize projects based on strategic alignment.

What You Bring

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, providing the core principles necessary for high-level financial oversight.

• 3 to 6 years of experience across accounting, FP&A, or project finance, with a knack for managing complex budgets and forecasting.

• Prior exposure to tech-enabled businesses or software development projects, helping you navigate the unique pace of Engineering and Product teams.

• A solid understanding of accounting standards regarding internally developed software and the ability to manage rigorous capitalization rules.

• Advanced Excel skills combined with experience in ERP and BI tools to automate reporting and provide deep-dive financial analysis.
