ELITS is now seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our operations in Montreal or Ottawa. In this role, you will transform raw data into meaningful insights by designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
About this position:
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPI scorecards.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Perform data modeling and create complex DAX calculations to support data analysis.
Connect to data sources, import, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
Implement row-level security and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and performance indicators.
Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools.
Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Strong understanding of DAX for calculations and measures.
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
Experience in Azure
Experience of ADF – Azure Data Factory a plus
Experience with Azure Synapse a plus
