At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Mid-Level to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.
Position Overview:
As a QA Mid-Level, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client expectations. Your expertise in testing methodologies will be vital as you design and execute test plans for web applications, particularly focusing on web services and REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications across multiple devices.
- Conduct thorough testing of web services, particularly REST APIs, and document test results and defects clearly.
- Participate in the implementation of testing best practices and the testing pyramid.
- Embrace a proactive and autonomous approach to problem-solving and learning within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must-have Skills:
- Experience in software testing, including planning, execution, and documentation.
- Knowledge of the testing pyramid and experience with functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Behat, Robot).
- Experience in conducting root cause analyses to pinpoint the underlying causes of issues.
- Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools (preferably JIRA).
- Intermediate English proficiency (reading and writing).
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Advanced and/or Fluent English.
- Experience with testing web services REST and understanding of API testing tools.
- Proficiency in SQL for creating queries and analyzing database results.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile projects.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.
