About the Role We're looking for a sharp, client-facing Social Media Strategist to join our team remotely. This isn't a "schedule posts and disappear" role, you'll own the full social media lifecycle for multiple US-based clients: strategy, content planning, execution, reporting, and most importantly, direct client communication. You'll be the primary point of contact for your accounts and need to operate like an extension of each client's team.
Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary social media point of contact for assigned US-based clients
Lead client kick-off calls set expectations, gather brand voice/guidelines, align on goals and KPIs
Run recurring strategy calls, present performance reports, and recommend optimizations
Communicate proactively flag issues early, share wins, and keep clients informed without being asked
Build trust through responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through
Strategy & Planning
Develop and present custom social media strategies tailored to each client's industry, audience, and business objectives
Build monthly content calendars with clear themes, content pillars, and platform-specific approaches
Conduct competitive analysis and audience research to inform content direction
Plan and coordinate campaigns (product launches, seasonal pushes, brand awareness)
Stay on top of platform algorithm changes, trending formats, and emerging features (Reels, carousels, Stories, LinkedIn newsletters, etc.)
Content Creation & Execution
Write compelling copy adapted to each platform's tone and best practices (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok as needed)
Create scroll-stopping Reels and short-form video content from concept and scripting through editing and publishing
Design on-brand static graphics, carousels, and stories using Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar tools
Coordinate with designers and videographers on larger creative assets when needed
Schedule and publish content using Relia (getrelia) and manage client workflows within GoHighLevel (GHL)
Manage community engagement responds to comments, DMs, and mentions in each client's brand voice
Handle content approvals and revision cycles with clients efficiently
Build and deliver monthly performance reports with clear takeaways and next steps
Use data to continuously optimize content strategy double down on what works, kill what doesn't
Benchmark against competitors and industry standards
Required Qualifications
3-5+ years of social media management experience, with at least 2 years in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
Excellent English communication skills written AND verbal. You will be on video calls with US clients regularly. Near-native fluency required.
Proven experience with face-to-face (video) US-based client interaction you're comfortable presenting strategy, walking through reports, and handling tough conversations on camera
Experience leading kick-off calls and onboarding new clients onto social programs
Strong strategic thinking you don't just post, you plan. You understand how social ties into broader marketing and business goals.
