Job Description

The People Operations Shared Services Specialist is a foundational role responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent support across core HR processes. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses while leveraging internal resources and cross-functional partnerships. Operating within a shared services model, this position supports Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Strategic Business Partners by executing transactional and process-driven work with precision. The role offers opportunities to build HR systems knowledge, strengthen service delivery capabilities, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee experience. 

What You’ll Do

  • Support hiring activities by coordinating interview logistics, preparing offer documentation, and assisting Talent Acquisition with administrative tasks

  • Execute onboarding activities within and outside of Workday, including system entries, document collection, and new hire readiness coordination

  • Manage offboarding processes, ensuring accurate system updates, compliance with established procedures, and coordination of exit activities

  • Administer the education assistance program by tracking requests, validating eligibility, and maintaining accurate records

  • Maintain and update People Operations SharePoint sites and shared resources to ensure content is accurate, accessible, and easy to use

  • Monitor and manage People Operations inboxes, triaging requests and responding to employee and manager inquiries with professionalism and timeliness

  • Assist with Benefits and Total Rewards processes, including leave of absence support, open enrollment activities, and benefits‑related transactions

  • Support the maintenance and monitoring of AI agents and automated workflows used in People Operations service delivery

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, consistency, and the employee experience

What You Bring

  • 2 or more years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or administrative support

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 1 or more years of experience working with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms

  • 1 or more years of experience supporting employee‑facing services or customer support functions

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures and ensure data accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment

  • Sound judgment, including knowing when to act independently and when to seek guidance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service‑oriented approach

  • Experience maintaining documentation, shared resources, or knowledge management systems

  • Collaborative mindset with an interest in improving processes and service delivery
