What’s the role?

Enforcement Integrity is a part of the Detection and Enforcement group, focused on protecting Etsy's marketplace and elevating Etsy as a trusted brand. We keep Etsy safe and maintain trust by enforcing Etsy’s member-facing policies, and mitigating risk. This team's focus is on ensuring enforcement actions are consistent, attributable, auditable, understandable, and applied fairly across time. Our team is a cross-functional group consisting of an engineering manager, product manager, full-stack engineers, with support from data analytics and operations. This team is fully located in Mexico, with partner teams based in Mexico, the US, and Ireland. Some of our team values are:

This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager, Enforcement Integrity. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

What does the day-to-day look like?

Expand control defection enablement capabilities ensuring enforcement is consistent, attributable, auditable, and understandable, regardless of where it originates.
Prototype, optimize, and productionize large-scale product improvements that deliver key results.
Collaborate with product managers, analysts, researchers, and other full-stack engineers to reduce risk, fraud and malicious behaviors that could impact tens of millions of users using our platform.
