Procurement Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT software procurement.
  • Deep knowledge of IT asset lifecycle and licensing (SaaS, PaaS, RaaS, IaaS) with understanding of per-user, per-core, and consumption-based entitlements.
  • Proficiency with the ISO-9902 Cloud Procurement Framework and strategic negotiation of high-value contracts (SLAs, data sovereignty, renewal caps).
  • Strong technical project management skills for procurement, including pipeline management with milestones, cross-department stakeholder coordination, and experience with complex RFP/RFQ development and SOW validation; financial data literacy (TCO/ROI).

Requirements:

  • Manage procurement pipeline as projects with milestones and cross-department stakeholder coordination to align with technical rollout.
  • Develop and score complex RFP/RFQ processes; ensure SOW is technically sound and legally enforceable.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts focusing on SLAs, data sovereignty, and renewal caps; conduct TCO/ROI analyses.
  • Apply licensing and asset lifecycle expertise to optimize SaaS/PaaS/RaaS/IaaS procurement and prevent overspending and audit risks.

Procurement Analyst (IT Strategy & Projects)
Location: Hybrid (On-site training 3-4 weeks; 4 days/week remote)

Required Skills :
- Minimum 3 years of Experience IT software Procurement

Preferred Skills :

- IT Asset Lifecycle & Licensing Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, RaaS, and IaaS licensing models. You must understand the difference between per-user, per-core, and consumption-based entitlements to prevent overspending and audit risks. Proficiency in the ISO-9902 Cloud Procurement Framework
- Strategic Negotiation: Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts. This isn't just about price; it’s about negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs), data sovereignty clauses, and renewal caps.
- Technical Project Management: Ability to manage a procurement pipeline as a project. This includes setting milestones, managing stakeholders across departments, and ensuring the procurement timeline aligns with the technical rollout.
- Complex RFP/RFQ Development: Experience drafting and scoring complex solicitations for enterprise-level IT services, ensuring that the "Statement of Work" (SOW) is technically sound and legally enforceable.
- Financial & Data Literacy: Ability to conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to justify multi-year technology investments to executive leadership.
