GCP Engineer

This is a remote position.

• Architecture Design & Strategy: Develop robust, high-availability, and secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments aligned with business objectives.
  
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implements automated deployments and manages infrastructure using Terraform.
  
• Migration and Modernization: Lead initiatives for lifting and shifting or re-architecting on-premises / cloud workloads to GCP.
  
• Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance through Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC design, and security controls.
  
• Cost Optimization and Governance: Analyze and optimize GCP resource usage to ensure cost efficiency.
  

Requirements

• Understanding of GCP and cloud security, 7-9 years of expertise in these areas
  
• Expertise with networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring in Google Cloud Platform
  
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability in distributed cloud systems, including metrics, logs, tracing, and latency analysis
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
