Legal Intern

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Reside and work remotely within the United States.
  • Accepted into the ACC Scholar program.
  • Currently an ACC Scholar and applying for an in-house legal internship for Summer 2026.
  • Reliable internet connection (cable or fiber-optic) with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.

Requirements:

  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff across areas including Corporate Governance and Subsidiary Management, Compliance, Risk, Employment, Business Development and International Sales, DEI initiatives, Intellectual Property Management, Brand Enforcement, Litigation, Public Contracting, and Data Privacy and Security.
  • Assist with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts (including vendor and procurement agreements) and support IP and brand protection efforts.
  • Support initiatives in AI/ML, Marketing and Advertising, and related regulatory/compliance considerations; participate in remote meetings and client interactions.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and assist with various matters as assigned by the Assistant General Counsel; report to the Assistant General Counsel.

Location: US, Remote. Must reside and work within the US.

Job Overview:

Our summer intern will join us this summer to perform tasks and duties as assigned and directed by the Cambium Learning Legal Department. The Cambium Legal Team currently consists of 7 attorneys and 3 support staff. This internship will work closely with each attorney and business unit clients, while reporting to the Assistant General Counsel. This is a US, Remote internship.
