About the Team/Role

The Guardrails & Growth Systems team at WEX is responsible for managing risk across the organization, including financial crime, credit risk, and money movement safety. This team plays a critical role in ensuring compliance while enabling scalable business growth.

As a Senior Product Manager, Process Transformation, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of process automation initiatives, helping transform highly manual operational workflows into scalable, efficient systems. You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, driving robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that reduce cost, improve efficiency, and enable future innovation, including AI-driven automation.

How you'll make an impact

  • Own and manage the intake (ingestion) pipeline of automation opportunities across the business

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define problem statements, requirements, and success metrics

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for engineering teams

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of RPA initiatives, including requirements gathering, UAT, and implementation

  • Analyze current-state processes and design future-state automated solutions

  • Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency through automation of manual workflows

  • Perform cost/benefit and ROI analysis for transformation initiatives

  • Act as a strategic liaison between business, engineering, and operations teams

  • Track and report on key performance metrics tied to automation success

Experience you'll bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience (or equivalent experience in transformation-focused roles)

  • 2–3+ years of experience in process improvement, change management, or consulting

  • Hands-on experience with robotic process automation (RPA) platforms

  • Strong background in financial services, banking, or payments operations (e.g., collections, disputes, underwriting)

  • Experience owning end-to-end process transformation initiatives

  • Experience gathering requirements, managing UAT, and driving implementation

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with both business stakeholders and engineering teams

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

What will give you an edge

  • Experience with UiPath or similar RPA platforms

  • UiPath Business Professional Certification

  • Background in large-scale financial operations or money movement systems

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial risk, compliance)

  • Experience preparing organizations for AI or advanced automation solutions

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $125,300.00 - $154,100.00
