  • Actively contribute to the implementation and use of IT applications that support and improve patient care within healthcare and clinical laboratory diagnostics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the company's clinical informatics and automation product portfolio, providing consulting support to sales, application and field service teams.
  • Lead IT solution implementation activities, ensuring timely delivery, installation support, and handover to other teams; participate in workflow analyses and project preparation.
  • Provide training to internal teams and customers, and engage with customers to design suitable solutions and ensure successful installation and ongoing support.

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Clinical IT Specialist to join our Automation and Clinical IT Team. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical IT and Automation product portfolio. This fully remote position involves close collaboration with our sales, application, and field service teams to ensure the optimal performance of our solutions across Czechia and Slovakia. Ideally based in Prague or elsewhere in Czechia, you will be part of a dynamic team operating across Eastern Europe, with members currently located in the Czech Republic, Croatia and Hungary. Be onsite and present in the BEC office whenever requested by the customer or the team.

We are looking for a reliable and accurate team player, who will take the responsibility for delegated tasks. A self-motivated and flexible person who is willing to travel.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively contribute to the implementation and use of IT applications that support and improve patient care within healthcare and clinical laboratory diagnostics
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the company’s clinical informatics and automation product portfolio
  • Provide consulting support on informatics solutions and products, and support the sales, application and field service teams in delivering the right value proposition to the customer
  • Participate in creating of workflow analyses and preparing of projects focused on automation and clinical IT solutions in the field of clinical laboratory diagnostics
  • Engage in meetings with customers to design a suitable solutions and ensure their subsequent installation and support
  • Lead part of IT solution implementation, ensuring timely delivery and handover to other teams
  • Provide training as required, both internally to local teams and externally to customers
  • Learn and explore new things

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Information technology, Engineering, or similar technically oriented discipline
  • Experience with IT networks, configuration and installation of servers and workstations
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Czech
  • Willing to travel for customer visits across the assigned region
  • Advanced computer skills

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Customer-oriented approach
  • Previous experience in a similar field
  • Logical and creative thinking and problem-solving approach
