Job description

Clearwater Analytics is seeking an Investment Analytics Analyst to join our Client Servicing and Reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing our suite of fintech SaaS applications by troubleshooting and resolving issues within specified SLAs, while also collaborating with both internal teams and external clients. You will manage client relationships, assist with performance data and reports, and ensure the integrity of investment portfolios through the analysis of large data sets. A strong foundation in economics, finance, or a related quantitative field is essential, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel, familiarity with coding languages such as Python, and excellent problem-solving skills are highly valued. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to client-specific projects and enhance our internal processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:  

  • Servicing our suite of software applications, including troubleshooting, researching and resolving issues within the specified SLAs.

  • Communicating and working with internal and external parties to resolve exceptions.

  • Working with and manipulating large data sets.

  • Observing and analyzing investment portfolios to ensure data integrity.

  • Assisting internal and external clients with performance data and reports.

  • Managing client relationships by reviewing and resolving client requests, responding to clients' inquiries on how to interpret portfolio reports provided and working with clients and Account Managers to create custom solutions.

  • Case Management and Knowledge Management.

  • Assistance in client specific projects as well as ad hoc projects to improve internal processes and procedures. 

 Requirements

  • BA/BS in economics, finance, or other quantitative or technical fields.

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Technical software understanding a plus.

  • Understanding of Excel Macros, Python, Power BI, and general coding a plus.

  • Superior communication and computer skills together with a well-developed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as ability to work with large amounts of data.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to effectively prioritize multiple projects.

New York Salary Range: $54,000 – $70,000 (DOE)

Salary Range

$48,000.00 - $62,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
