We are actively seeking an SAP ABAP Sr. Consultant. This is a remote position that can based anywhere in Brazil.

Position Summary  

As part of the Rimini Consult group, the Senior SAP ABAP Consultant will own best practice SAP solutions within SAP ECC & S/4HANA. They will be responsible for utilizing SAP standard solutions and applications to identify improvement opportunities and deliver effective solutions. The role will require the developer to be flexible across time zones, to have the capability to effectively manage multiple priorities, and to possess a strong desire for learning and expanding their skillset beyond their core competencies. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the requirement gathering process for new software functionality to ensure that definitions of new functionality are clearly defined and understood.

• Ability to convert business requirement to technical requirements and prepare technical specification document.

• Ability to deliver SAP ABAP technical objects as per the design in a timely manner.

• Ability to operate with no or minimal supervision.

• Coordinate and deliver in a global team for continuous delivery.

Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience as a Senior ABAP Developer

• 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing user exits, enhancements, reports, forms, BAPIs, BADIs, SAP and non-SAP integration technologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in Fiori, S4HANA, BTP, OData, SAPUI5, Adobe forms, BRF+, Workflow, etc. would be an added advantage.

• Expertise in quick debugging and fixing issues in complex custom programs / enhancements.

• Strong functional domain expertise and SAP business process knowledge.

• Proven understanding of SAP best practices and their application in designing and delivering solutions. 

• Customer service focused with demonstrable soft skills going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations. 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Location 

• Brazil, remote work

Language

• Fluent Portuguese and English. Spanish as a plus.
