G.E.H.A’s internship program is designed to develop a pipeline for potential full-time opportunities; however, conversion to regular employment is not guaranteed and depends on business need, performance, and available headcount.Program begins June 8, 2026 and will conclude August 14, 2026
The internship will provide an overview of the respective area and allow learning in the healthcare industry. To provide an opportunity for individuals to gain real world experience applying strategic sourcing and vendor management principles. In addition, it allows for additional support for various daily activities pertaining to the procurement and vendor management organization.
Key Duties
Review contracts for start dates, termination dates and other identified fields
Calculate lifetime value of contracts and amendments by vendor
Prepare, as directed, accurate and insightful communication of findings through presentations
Follow guidance to ensure quality and reliability of results
Ensure vendor contracts are properly linked and utilize a standard naming convention
Identify any quality issues and trends in the contract metadata
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
3.0 overall GPA
Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities
Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Comprehension of basic legal language
Potential Projects
Primary focus will be reviewing the contract lifecycle management tool for accuracy and updating specific data points
Streamlining and organizing the Vendor Management Organization’s virtual filing system

G.E.H.A considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
The hiring range for this position is $43,160 - $54,600 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $60,840 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization. The salary range shown represents an annualized full‑time rate.
