  • Define, communicate, and monitor team deliverables, timelines, and performance, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis.

Position Purpose: The Supervisor, UAT Operations is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of capacity, productivity, quality control, and system functionality within User Acceptance Testing and reconciliation operations. This role drives operational excellence by establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving procedures, systems, and controls that support information flow, data management, testing utilization, and stakeholder reporting.

The Supervisor operates as a subject matter expert and autonomous decision-maker, leading highly technical teams through complex testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities. This role requires strong judgment and self-sufficiency, with the ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and implement department-wide decisions in alignment with UAT and reconciliation goals, even in the absence of documented processes.

  • Oversee the execution of technology based strategic initiatives and the fulfillment of client reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to develop software solution strategies and assure technology execution is in alignment with those strategies.

  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data models, data relationships and data utilization and consumption.

  • Design and develop efficient operational systems throughout the department.

  • Define and communicate timelines and expectations to staff.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized processes and practices to assure alignment with enterprise standards and industry best practices.

  • Define, convey, and monitor team member deliverables to leverage individual strengths and build team capabilities that will enable sustained success.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

  • Oversee daily operations related to capacity planning, productivity management, quality control, and system functionality across UAT and reconciliation activities.

  • Establish and continuously enhance operational procedures, systems, and principles supporting information flow, data management, and testing utilization.

  • Develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure consistent execution and operational control.

  • Trend production and testing issues to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Determine testing, reconciliation, and system requirements to support release readiness and operational accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain documented processes for test plan management, testing utilization, and escalation handling.

  • Partner with Product Management, Information Technology, and Enrollment, Membership, and Billing teams to support user acceptance testing, release readiness, and reconciliation efforts.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience. 4+ years of related operations and/or IT experience, preferably in healthcare. Strong understanding of relational database concepts. Experience with report and/or query development. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area or managing cross functional teams on large scale projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio preferred.
  • Experience with UAT, quality testing, or data reconciliation in managed care or Medicaid environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with claims systems and testing tools preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or people leadership experience preferred
  • Six Sigma certification desirable.

Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
