Roles & Responsibilities

  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience in the chip industry
  • Knowledge and experience in the semiconductor industry (fabless company preferred)
  • Fluent English with outstanding communication skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, bright, focused, analytical, and motivated manufacturing engineer to join our Optical manufacturing engineering team in Thailand at the Chonburi site, driving continuous improvement in our production lines around the globe.  Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing strategies for optical products.

  • Overseeing the production of optical components and ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.

  • Conducting research and feasibility studies to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.

  • Developing and maintaining documentation, including manufacturing instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Working alongside the Operations, R&D, and NPI teams on projects & mass production

  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure consistent and reliable output.

  • Analyzing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment and tools for manufacturing optical products.

  • Assisting in the testing and validation of new optical technologies and products.

  • Travel as needed for the business.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment in the Chip industry

  • Seasoned manufacturing engineer.

  • Knowledge and experience in the Semiconductor industry (Fabless company – benefit)

  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Performs well in an intensive and dynamic environment.

  • Fluent English.

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Ability to physically attend the Chonburi site on a daily basis.
