WHAT YOU’LL DO:

MGT is seeking a highly driven, strategic, and execution-oriented Director, Global Operations to help build, scale, and optimize our global delivery model in support of the company’s growth objectives.

This role is central to advancing MGT’s global talent and operating strategy, ensuring we deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable solutions across regions. You will partner closely with senior leaders across the business to drive alignment, improve execution, and elevate the performance of our global model.

The Director, Global Operations will operate as both a builder and operator — bringing structure to a complex environment, strengthening accountability across vendors and internal teams, and translating data into actionable decisions that improve outcomes.

  • Drive Global Delivery Performance
Own end-to-end performance of MGT’s global delivery model, identifying gaps in quality, speed, and consistency, and driving measurable improvements across teams and partners.
  • Own Process Design & Operational Rigor
Design, standardize, and continuously improve global operating processes to ensure scalability, clarity of ownership, and efficient execution across all regions and functions.
  • Vendor Management & Accountability
Lead coordination with global providers, enforcing SLAs, addressing performance gaps, and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all partners.
  • Stakeholder Leadership & Escalation Management
Serve as the primary operational partner to Practice Groups (PGs), Operating Groups (OGs), and People & Culture (P&C), proactively managing expectations, resolving escalations, and driving alignment.
  • Data, Metrics & Insights
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance frameworks to provide clear visibility into global operations and inform decision-making at the executive level.
  • Financial Oversight & Value Realization
Track hiring activity, resource costs, and savings, ensuring global initiatives deliver against financial expectations and ROI targets.
  • Execution of Global Talent Strategy
Support and operationalize MGT’s global talent strategy, ensuring hiring, onboarding, and delivery models are aligned with business needs and scalable for growth.
  • Transformation & Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives to improve execution, address systemic issues, and evolve the operating model, including process reengineering and adoption of new tools and capabilities.
  • Communication & Change Enablement
Develop clear communications, training materials, and process documentation to support adoption and understanding of the global model across stakeholders.
  • Planning, Forecasting & Controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls, including billing validation and audit processes to ensure accuracy and discipline.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We are looking for a highly analytical, execution-oriented leader who thrives in building and scaling global operations, driving accountability, and turning insight into action.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in global operations, finance, consulting, or a related leadership role within a professional services, consulting, or global delivery environment.
  • Proven experience working with global delivery models (offshore, nearshore, or captive), including managing vendor and partner ecosystems.
  • Strong track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing operational processes and delivery models at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and hold vendors accountable, including SLA management, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Advanced analytical capability, with experience building dashboards, KPIs, and performance frameworks that drive measurable outcomes.
  • High proficiency in Excel (data modeling, analysis) and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-level insights.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under ambiguity.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align across Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and Operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership and driving alignment across diverse teams.
  • Bias toward action — ability to move from analysis to execution and deliver results quickly and effectively.
  • Experience supporting or leading transformation initiatives, including driving change, improving execution, and scaling operations.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and operating in a global, highly collaborative environment.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled workflows, automation, or process reengineering is a strong plus.
