What’s the job?
As the Information Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in executing and uplifting SOX (ITGC) compliance across enterprise systems at Torrens Global Education.
Working within Digital IT (IT Ops), you’ll be responsible for ensuring technology controls across access management, privileged access, and system activity are operating effectively, well-documented, and audit-ready year-round.
This is a hands-on, technical compliance role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems, validating access, supporting audits, and improving how compliance is delivered.
You’ll also contribute to broader compliance initiatives aligned to ISO 27001 and organisational risk frameworks, helping strengthen overall security maturity.
Day-to-day accountabilities
SOX / ITGC Compliance & Access Governance
Execute and maintain SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) across systems
Lead quarterly user access reviews (UAR) across platforms (e.g. Active Directory, Salesforce, SQL, Power BI)
Manage user provisioning, access changes, and identity lifecycle controls
Ensure access aligns with defined roles and permissions frameworks
Audit & Assurance
Prepare and provide audit evidence for internal and external audits (AU & US stakeholders)
Support audit walkthroughs, testing cycles, and remediation tracking
Investigate and respond to control failures, documenting outcomes and fixes
Technical Validation & Control Testing
Analyse logs and system activity to validate appropriate access usage
Perform control testing across access, logging, and system controls
Ensure controls are operating effectively and consistently
Process Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities to improve and automate compliance processes
Enhance how evidence is captured and maintained
Support uplift of control maturity and audit readiness
Broader Compliance Support
Contribute to ISO 27001 alignment and governance activities
Maintain registers (risks, controls, audit findings, actions)
Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities
Promote awareness and best practices across teams
Who you are:
SOX / ITGC Experience (Non-negotiable)
Hands-on experience with SOX compliance and ITGC controls
Experience supporting audits, evidence collection, and remediation
Strong understanding of user access reviews and identity controls
Technical & Systems Knowledge
Experience with identity and access management (IAM)
Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g. AD, cloud, SaaS platforms)
Ability to interpret logs and validate system access/activity
Analytical & Detail-Oriented
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail in evidence and control validation
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Comfortable working with IT teams, auditors, and business stakeholders
Able to clearly communicate technical findings
Experience & Qualifications
5+ years in IT security and compliance
Degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related field
Certifications (Security+, CISA, CISM, etc.) are desirable

User access reviews are efficient, accurate, and well-documented
Reduced audit friction through better evidence and processes
Improved automation and maturity of compliance activities
Strong collaboration across Digital IT, Risk, and Audit teams
