Job description

The Growth Lead for Global Health Benefits (GHB) Americas is a senior advisor responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth initiatives across the Americas region. This strategic role partners with cross-functional teams to drive profitable expansion in targeted geographies and customer segments, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market opportunities. The Growth Lead provides expert insights to strategic planning, leverages market research and analysis, and translates growth strategies into actionable business and marketing plans.

Scope

  • Drives growth initiatives impacting the Americas region, with influence across commercial, product, marketing, and operational teams.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and matrix partners to align resources and efforts around targeted growth strategies.
  • Supports the execution of new product launches, market expansion, channel development, and other growth-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in the Americas, including market expansion, product diversification, channel optimization, and other growth prospects.
  • Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, partnering with commercial and all key stakeholder teams to deliver results.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform growth strategies.
  • Develop and track action plans to ensure achievement of growth objectives.
  • Support the annual strategic planning process, providing data-driven recommendations and scenario modeling.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence sales, retention, and product strategies.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Represent GHB Americas in cross-functional and external forums as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in growth strategy, business development, or related roles within global healthcare or insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies across market segments of varied size, maturity and specialty.
  • Previous success leveraging commercial insights and removing barriers to entry in new markets and/or with customers who are detractors
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to inspire cross-functional teams and influence at all levels within an organization.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering revenue results.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 126,300 - 210,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
