We are currently looking for a SAP HANA Cloud Data Modeler (Medior/Senior)

💡 Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP HANA Cloud Data Modeler to join our data and analytics team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data models based on SAP ERP core tables in the finance and supply chain domains for a manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud native development, Calculation Views, and a solid understanding of finance and supply chain data within SAP

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient and scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud using Calculation Views and SQLScript.
• Implement calculated fields, aggregations, and business logic based on Profit Center, Business Line and MRP Controller requirements.
• Collaborate with finance and supply chain stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize data models for performance, security, and reusability.
• Ensure models are well-documented, version-controlled, and adhere to best practices.
• Work with functional consultants to validate data accuracy and business alignment.

🧩 Required Skills & Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud.
• Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, and Table Functions, Stored Procedures and scheduler jobs.
• Experience with profit center accounting and MRP/planning-related data.
• Familiarity with data modeling principles, performance optimization, and analytic privileges.
• Ability to work in SAP Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Database Explorer.
• Experience using Git-based source code management tools for version control and collaboration (Bitbucket).
• Familiar with automated deployment pipelines for promoting changes across environments (Jenkins).
• Good communication skills to work with both business users and technical teams.
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies.

🧠 Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with CDS views.
• Knowledge of Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and oData services for exposing data Understanding of OData services services and how to connect SAP HANA data models to UI5 layers.
• Familiarity with developing and integrating SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications.
• Create infolinks and reports in Tibco Spotfire.
• Exposure to SDI/SDA for data replication or virtualization.

📚 Experience

• 2 a 4 years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud. (Medior)
• 5 a 7 years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud. (Senior)

🌍 Languages

• English: Fluent (mandatory)
• Portuguese: Nice to have

📍 Location & Availability

• Location: Portugal (remote)
• Availability to travel to the Netherlands 1–2 times per year (1 week)
