Requirements

 

What you will do: 

As the Director of Marketing, Paid Media - you will lead bartaco’s digital marketing engine - turning paid media into measurable traffic and sales. This role is equal parts strategy and execution: building plans, running programs, optimizing performance, and holding partners accountable to results. 

The role will own the digital marketing calendar, campaign performance, and the systems that make our marketing smarter over time (audiences, testing measurement, automation). 

Responsibilities

  • Own bartaco’s end-to-end digital marketing strategy and performance to drive measurable traffic and sales. 
  • Lead performance marketing across paid social media, paid search, programmatic, 3rd party delivery/catering platforms (UberEats, DoorDash, ezCater), and local/store-driving media.
  • Own CRM and lifecycle marketing efforts across email and SMS, including segmentation, automation, and list growth. 
  • Translate brand moments, LTO’s and promotions into integrated, channel-ready campaign plans. 
  • Own digital measurement and reporting, including KPI framework, dashboards, insights, and post-campaign learnings for leadership. 
  • Own the website as a marketing channel, including content strategy, copy updates, landing pages, promotional placement, and ensuring brand/voice consistency across key journeys. 
  • Build and execute a testing roadmap across creative, audiences, offers and conversion paths to continuously improve results. 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer-facing digital marketing with ownership of paid media.
  • Proven track record driving measurable growth in multi-unit retail, restaurant, hospitality (or similar).
  • Strong grasp of marketing analytics, attribution basics, and experimentation. 
  • Hands-on comfort with ad platforms, audiences, pixels/events, and lifecycle tooling. 
  • Clear, direct communicator that can lead internal partners and agencies. 
  • Proactive nature, operate with a sense of urgency and effective follow through. 

This position is remote; the candidate must be located in a market with a bartaco.

Salary Description
$120,000 - $140,000 / Year
