Position Overview

OWT Global is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support our rapidly growing portfolio of DoD and federal programs. This role is critical to mission success, responsible for delivering highly qualified, cleared, and technically skilled personnel across engineering, operations, and field support functions.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role requiring urgency, precision, and a strong understanding of government contracting. The ideal candidate brings a mission-first mindset, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can build and sustain pipelines of top-tier talent aligned with evolving contract needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting across technical and operational roles, including Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Integration & Test (I&T), and field support personnel (e.g., FSEs and FSRs)
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines aligned with current programs and anticipated contract awards
  • Partner closely with Program Managers, Directors, and Hiring Managers to define requirements and ensure alignment with mission objectives
  • Source and engage candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, clearance platforms, referrals, and defense industry networks
  • Screen candidates for technical qualifications, security clearance eligibility, deployability, and cultural fit
  • Support rapid staffing needs tied to contract transitions, deployments, and surge requirements
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR, security clearance standards, and federal employment regulations
  • Represent OWT Global at career fairs, industry events, and targeted recruiting initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in government contracting, aerospace, defense, or technical environments
  • Proven success sourcing and placing engineering, technical, and operational professionals
  • Strong understanding of defense industry requirements, security clearances, and ITAR regulations
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems (e.g., ADP)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting candidates with active Secret clearance or higher
  • Familiarity with defense manufacturing and production environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Military or operational experience is a plus
