  • Familiarity with ABC products, services and pharmaceutical distribution operations.

Requirements:

  • Maintain the team's ability to hit primary department goals and service level objectives by monitoring KPIs and generating reports.
  • Process transfers and confirm drop-ship orders; maintain open purchase orders with tracking information and updated item notes.
  • Serve as the primary backup to the Buyer and act as the sales team's reference for product and inventory questions.
  • Review damages, shortages, or shipment discrepancies and resolve issues independently; support overstock inventory objectives through returns and transfers.

Job Details

Summary of Role:
Under general direction of the Replenishment Operations Manager/Buyer, responsible for providing support to the Buyer(s) to achieve service level and inventory objectives.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining teams ability to hit primary department goals.
  • Review and report claims of damages, shortages, or other shipment discrepancies.
  • Serves as primary reference for sales team product and inventory questions.
  • Generate reports tracking teams main KPIs.
  • Responsible for transactions such as processing transfers and confirming drop ship orders.
  • Serves as the primary back up to Buyer.
  • Maintains current open purchase orders status by obtaining tracking information and updating item notes to maximize the established service level objective.
  • Ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Supports Buyers overstock inventory objectives by assisting with product returns and inventory transfer maintenance.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • A high school diploma and/or 1-3 years related work experience. 
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) are necessary.

Experience:

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
