Overview

The Staff Project Operations Representative serves as a strategic lead in the end-to-end management of complex project lifecycles, from contract approval and technical sign-offs to final Permission to Operate (PTO).

In this high-impact role, you will manage a portfolio of sophisticated projects while acting as a key partner for channel onboarding and support. Beyond daily execution, this role is a critical driver of scalability, influencing the development of future policies and operational processes as we expand into new products, partners, and markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Orchestration: Lead the full project lifecycle by collaborating with cross-functional teams (Dev, Design, Finance) to drive milestones, manage change orders, and ensure timely project completion.

  • Strategic Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales and Install partners; oversee market expansions, facilitate partner onboarding, and deliver training on policy and technical processes.

  • Technical Compliance & Quality Assurance: Review technical plan sets, legal contracts, and financial documents to ensure accuracy, SOX compliance, and alignment with Sunrun’s internal policies and financial objectives.

  • Data-Driven Process Optimization: Leverage Salesforce and internal databases to perform audits, manage project reporting (daily/weekly/monthly), and identify data trends to improve automation and workflow efficiency.

  • Strategic Problem Solving: Navigate project roadblocks by developing creative solutions and managing competing priorities across multiple internal and external departments.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications, and other skills)

  • 4+ years of work experience. Solar and data systems experience a plus.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, and project management tools preferred.

  • Flexible and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, and work independently to resolve problems to deliver results and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization. 

  • Ability to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends and evening hours, to meet end-of-quarter targets and deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, along with effective communication skills with peers and other levels and departments

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$58,128.72 to $77,504.97
