Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred; relevant construction field experience could substitute for higher education.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for construction supplies with a proven track record delivering results; 3+ years of direct managerial experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within the territory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • Devise full-year strategic plans to achieve top-line sales targets, aiming for double-digit growth while managing budgets and leveraging systems such as BW, Tool Commerce, Salesforce.com, dashboards, opportunities, and WIGs.
  • Foster and advance key account relationships across ownership, management, marketing, and sales.
  • Develop and mentor a highly engaged team of direct reports to reach their potential through regular mentoring and training.

The Job:

As a Regional Market Manager, you’ll be part of our Commercial Construction field sales team as a field-based employee in your assigned territory of Colorado or Utah. You’ll get to: 

  • Establish aggressive but accurate sales targets & forecasts that meet and exceed divisions expectations
  • Devise full year strategic plans to achieve top line sales targets – minimally growing the business double digits over prior year – while meeting established P&L goals for the local market and remaining within assigned T&E and TF budgets
  • Foster and advance key account relationships including ownership, management, marketing, and sales
  • Develop a highly engaged team of direct reports to meet their potential and embrace the goals and objectives of the division through a regular frequency of mentoring and training
  • Understand and effectively leverage critical business systems including BW, Tool Commerce, SalesForce.com, dashboards, opportunities, WIGs etc.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results
  • Valid Driver's License and physical ability to travel up to 50% within territory assignment
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $120,000- $130,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
