Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Join Crusoe's Business Operations team within the CFO/COO function, where you will own the operating rhythm that connects executive strategy to company-wide execution. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, drive M&A integration, manage OKR and business review processes, and ensure leadership has the visibility and frameworks needed to make high-quality decisions at speed.

This is a leadership role for someone who can operate at both the strategic and tactical level. You'll set direction for how the company plans, tracks, and executes, while still rolling up your sleeves on the work that matters most. You will also build and lead a team to scale the function alongside Crusoe's growth.

We're seeking a seasoned operator with 10+ years of experience who has built and scaled operational infrastructure at high-growth companies.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Cross-Functional Strategic Initiatives: Define, prioritize, and lead Crusoe's highest-impact initiatives spanning CI, DIG, Cloud, and SG&A, driving alignment and ensuring execution against committed outcomes

  • M&A Integration: Own end-to-end integration of acquisitions and strategic transactions, standing up playbooks, managing workstreams, and ensuring deals capture their intended value

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with the executive team to translate long-range strategy into operating plans, investment priorities, and resource allocation decisions

  • Analysis & Insights: Drive analytical rigor across the business, framing the right questions and ensuring leadership has the insights needed to act decisively

  • Process Improvement: Build and scale the operational frameworks and processes that enable the company to plan, decide, and execute at pace

  • OKR Management: Design and run the company-wide OKR process, ensuring goals are well-structured, cascaded across functions, and regularly audited for alignment

  • Business Reviews & Board Materials: Own the cadence and content of MBRs, QBRs, and Board prep, giving leadership a clear, data-driven view of performance vs. plan

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, program management, management consulting, investment banking, or a comparable role, with meaningful time at a high-growth technology company

  • Track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership without direct authority

  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams

  • Experience designing and running company-wide operating rhythms (OKRs, business reviews, strategic planning cycles)

  • Strong analytical judgment with the ability to frame problems, set priorities, and drive executive-level decisions

  • Systems-level thinker who understands how decisions in energy, infrastructure, and cloud cascade across functions

  • Excellent communication skills, including board-level materials and translating between technical and business audiences

  • Experience with M&A integration or strategic transaction support

  • Comfort in technically complex environments; able to pressure-test plans and timelines

  • Sharp risk and escalation judgment, knowing what to flag, what to absorb, and when to solve vs. escalate

  • Change management experience, particularly driving adoption of new processes across diverse teams

Bonus Points

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative or business discipline

  • Experience in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, data centers, energy, or other capital-intensive industries

  • Prior experience building a business operations function

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools

  • Experience at a company navigating $1B+ scale

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off & paid holidays

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $215,200 – $269,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
