ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join an international, forward-thinking organization undergoing a large-scale digital and data transformation. This is a fully remote opportunity within Portugal, offering the chance to lead impactful initiatives in a complex enterprise environment. You will work with modern platforms and cutting-edge transformation strategies while collaborating with global teams in a dynamic and growth-oriented setting.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

You will lead a critical data transformation program focused on migrating legacy OSS/BSS and rollout systems into modern platforms such as Salesforce (Salesforce Lightning Experience, API v57+), ServiceNow (Tokyo or later versions), and IQGeo (v5+).

The role involves defining and executing the transformation strategy, ensuring seamless data migration processes, and coordinating cross-functional teams across data engineering, ETL, and business domains. You will be responsible for minimizing operational disruption while ensuring data integrity, quality, and business continuity throughout the transition.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager in data migration or data transformation programs
• Strong expertise in OSS/BSS ecosystems and telecom-related transformation methodologies
• Hands-on experience managing ETL processes (e.g., Talend 7.x, Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, or similar tools)
• Solid knowledge of enterprise platforms such as Salesforce (Lightning, REST APIs), ServiceNow (ITSM modules), and/or IQGeo
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including roadmap definition, cutover planning, and go-live execution
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience reporting to executive-level audiences
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Fluent in English (mandatory)

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience in large-scale telecom transformation projects
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and validation tools
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master)
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) in data migration contexts
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, or data architecture principles
• Additional language skills (e.g., German or Portuguese)
