Oversee activities of the Regional Directors and facilitate the regional market dynamics to maximize new and existing prime vendor accounts and identify new opportunities for sales growth.Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and direction for regional teams to successfully achieve long- and short-term goals and targets and to gain efficiencies in logistical policies while working within established rules and guidelines.
Ensure the sharing of best-in-class policies, process and procedures are consistently implemented between regions.
Accountable for positive customer relationships related to supply chain logistics support within a particular geographic region
Develop and present 12-month strategic and tactical operational plans and budgets for each regional team and/or project/programs. Accountable for project prioritization.
Review financial performance for each SCO program to ensure continuity of customers relationship and profitability of programs.
Oversee the technical sales support provided to the corporate sales team on development of SCO contracts, RFP development and sales presentation.
Establish and enforce pricing strategies and contract negotiation parameters for the salesforce.
Establish and implement realistic & attainable short- and long-range goals for each supported site, in conjunction with area sales management.
Ensure teams complete logistical due diligence for each project.
Work collaboratively with local branches to successfully setup, train employees and successfully process initial orders.
Lead efficiency and improvement initiatives of logistics support services like communication channels and project prioritization and management.
Management responsibilities include:
Typically manages through multiple Director or Managers
Provide leadership and management to one or more major departments of an operating unit or to a department that has system-wide accountability
Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12 + months) for the function or department
Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs
Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies
Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
Work Experience
A minimum of 8 years of overall experience within Sales to include Logistic consulting experience and Supply Chain experience in the healthcare industry.
At least 5 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Experience negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and/or reconciling differences.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Ability to present and communicate at all levels of an organization.
Ability communicating technical information to non-technical audiences (ex. research findings to customers).
Position requires travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$154,000.00 - $231,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
