The HUB West Region Casualty Leader is responsible for coordinating and delivering HUB’s resources for Casualty accounts across the super-region, including:
Lost sensitive casualty programs
Global accounts
Review of letters of credit/collateral
Data & analytics
Alternative structures
Multiline structures
Captives
Risk services
Complex casualty claims
Industry/Account Makeup includes but is not limited to:
Real Estate
Hospitality
Healthcare
Food/Agribusiness
Industrial
Manufacturing
Technology
Public Entity
Education
Energy
Track and provide oversight and direct placement expertise to larger segment of Casualty Risks within the West Region.
Collaborate with HUB Industry Practice Leaders and provide assistance as requested/needed
Participating in Critical Path and Deal Desk calls/meetings
Assist with the recruitment of outside talent to strengthen the region
Develop a portfolio of services and capabilities that are consistently delivered on large/complex casualty accounts
Assist HUB brokers in winning new large, casualty risks across the enterprise or assist in the coordination of the right team from across HUB as needed.
Assist HUB brokers in defending threats from other brokers on large/complex casualty accounts.
Negotiate with markets on complex casualty placements for both new and existing clients as requested by regional hubs that comprise the West Region.
Assist teams outside of the West Region when needed and approved by West Region president and/or North American Casualty Practice Leader
Develop and maintain relationships with regional casualty carrier executives from both standard and specialty markets.
Encourage development of direct relationships with markets in the field and provide introductions where needed.
Share market information with the regional hubs regarding the latest developments and solutions in the casualty market.
Cascade messaging and critical communications from practice leadership
Stay informed on global market conditions and capacity (London, Bermuda, Europe, Asia) as well as emerging solutions (alternative structures and collateral alternatives)
Professionally represent HUB in meetings, seminars, trade shows, speaking engagements and networking events.
Support the regions for any M&A due diligence as respects targets that present large casualty books.
Promote and provide access to key data and analytical tools that are available
Review program agreements and or contracts to ensure compliance with insurance requirements
Develop professional, client ready materials for presentations and meetings
Provide requested performance and engagement data for the West Region to North American casualty Practice Leader and Regional CMO
Provide regular casualty related updates to clients and colleagues
Work with and support other HUB North American casualty Practice colleagues as respects requests for regional & industry related expertise.
Travel as needed for both internal and external meetings, presentations, conferences, etc.
Train and develop junior team members

At least 10 years of progressive, successful brokerage experience and support; majority must be within Casualty brokerage.
Deep expertise, market relationships and strong visibility in the global casualty marketplace
Proven progressive track record in driving new business results.

Highly developed organization and time management skills.
Strong listening, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Public speaking and presentation experience.
Strong degree of self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to lead/motivate others.
Influential and persuasive with the ability to partner across HUB and work well with segment and other practice leaders
