Functional / Scrum Lead – Azure Cloud Migration

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional/Scrum Lead to support a complex Azure cloud migration initiative. This role will bridge business and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery through Agile methodologies while maintaining compliance with ITAR regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) as Scrum Lead
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and system requirements
• Translate functional requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Support Azure cloud migration efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
• Ensure compliance with ITAR data regulations and related security controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, product, compliance)
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive issue resolution
• Apply systems thinking to analyze complex processes and dependencies

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Functional Lead, Scrum Master, or similar role in complex IT projects
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud migration initiatives
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
• Solid background in test coordination and execution
• Familiarity with ITAR regulations and data handling controls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on highly regulated environments (government, defense, aerospace)
• Exposure to security and compliance frameworks
• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent

• Must be a US Citizen (required for ITAR compliance)
