  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including Directors of Aviation, Chief Pilots, Pilots, Schedulers, and Dispatchers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial recommendations tailored to customer needs.

Business Aviation Sales Executive

Location: Remote

The Business Aviation Sales Executive is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through the strategic sale of aviation fuel and related services to business aviation customers. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and delivering tailored fuel solutions in a competitive, highly regulated global aviation market.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, a customer‑first mindset, and the ability to navigate complex aviation fuel transactions while collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed fuel volume and revenue targets within the Business Aviation segment.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and account expansion.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including Directors of Aviation, Chief Pilots, Pilots, Schedulers, and Dispatchers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial recommendations tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts in alignment with World Fuel policies, risk parameters, and prevailing market conditions.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer demand, and competitor activity to inform pricing strategy and sales tactics.
  • Partner closely with operations, logistics, credit, and finance teams to ensure seamless onboarding, execution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, forecasts, and customer interactions within CRM systems.

Required Skills & Capabilities

Aviation & Technical Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of aviation fuel products, fueling operations, and supply chain logistics.
  • Familiarity with aviation terminology and business aviation operating environments.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and data‑driven sales tools.

Sales & Commercial Acumen

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to analyze market dynamics and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Experience supporting contract management, pricing, and margin optimization.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain long‑term client relationships.
  • Comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executives, procurement teams, and technical personnel.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field (MBA a plus) preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in aviation industry experience.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding performance targets in a competitive sales environment.

Additional Information

  • Approximately 10% travel is required to support customer engagement and business development activities.
