  • Knowledge of commercial, accounting, or supply chain process flows and experience supporting RightAngle process enhancements or system changes in a production environment, including user support, data validation, testing coordination, and change adoption.

Requirements:

  • Lead and support BPO projects by defining scope, developing schedules, gathering requirements, establishing roles, monitoring progress, and coordinating communications; manage project backlogs and roadmaps with business owners and IT.
  • Conduct business process reviews to identify improvements, analyze system effectiveness, and implement changes; develop strategies for process optimization and data governance.
  • Provide day-to-day business support for RightAngle across four instances, including user support, testing coordination, data validation, and change adoption; mentor junior staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, IT, consultants, and vendors to streamline processes, translate business needs into scalable RightAngle solutions, and drive successful implementation of technology initiatives.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.

Job Profile Summary

With a focus on ONEOK’s Refined, NGL, and Crude footprint, this Commercial Business Process Optimization (BPO) team member will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT to support and enhance the RightAngle application landscape. The role requires prior RightAngle functional and/or technical experience and will operate across four distinct RightAngle instances with varying levels of automation and customization. Responsibilities include leading and supporting projects, defining requirements and testing criteria, providing day‑to‑day business support, and consulting on value‑driven improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of liquid hydrocarbon commercial, logistical, and accounting business models, along with strengths in project execution, process improvement, communication, and cross‑functional partnership, and demonstrates the ability to listen to business needs and translate them into effective, scalable solutions. This role will serve in a lead role capacity for all Business Process Optimization functions (BPO) including project management, business process mapping and review, product backlog management and business intelligence/data governance initiatives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Implement process or technology improvement opportunities by managing and prioritizing BPO projects including but not limited to:

    • collaborate with project sponsors and project teams to define scope

    • develop project schedules

    • gather business requirements

    • establish project team roles and responsibilities

    • monitor progress and hold project team accountable for delivery of tasks

    • develop and execute project communication plans

  • Work with complex and/or cross-functional project teams.

  • Manage backlog of projects. Collaborate with business owners and IT to prioritize and develop roadmaps for existing software applications.

  • Initiate and perform business process reviews, make recommendations for improvements and/or changes to resolve deficiencies.

  • Analyze effectiveness and efficiency of systems and develop strategies for improvement of business processes.

  • Identify business problems or management objectives that can be addressed through data analysis and provide guidance for data quality enhancements.

  • Independently develop and maintain business intelligence analyses in support of strategic initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and instruction to lower-level professionals to build analyses.

  • Recommend and assist with implementing data governance solutions.

  • Maintain and encourage strong working relationships with business partners, IT stakeholders, consultants and vendors to achieve success on initiatives.

  • Collaborate with management, other departments or segments, customers and vendors to streamline internal processes and drive implementation of technology solutions.

  • Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level professionals for project completion.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, MIS, or combination of formal education and the following job-related experience preferred:

  • 3–6 years of experience supporting RightAngle end‑to‑end commercial or operational business processes within an asset‑intensive or transaction‑driven environment, with exposure to enterprise systems used for deal execution, scheduling, settlement, or financial close.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, document, and improve business processes, translating stakeholder needs into clear functional requirements and partnering with technology teams to implement sustainable, scalable solutions.

  • Working knowledge of commercial, accounting, or supply chain process flows, including how upstream decisions impact downstream execution, controls, and reporting across multiple functions.

  • Experience supporting RightAngle process enhancements, system changes, or operational initiatives in a production environment, including user support, issue resolution, data validation, testing coordination, and change adoption.
