The Opportunity

Our Accelerate program lets you showcase your skills, while gaining real-life experience that’ll help you jump-start your career. Our interns deliver innovative solutions to real business challenges, while building enduring relationships in a collaborative culture with their manager and an assigned mentor.

This position is based in San Antonio, TX.

What you'll do:

The Accelerate Program, offers current college sophomore students the chance to discover what it’s like to intern at a leading financial services organization. You will learn about the company, USAA’s brand and mission, and opportunities available across the enterprise. While gaining insight into the service of the military community and USAA’s noble mission, we will introduce you to USAA’s collaborative culture.

Program allows participants to:

  • Gain a fundamental understanding the Finance department through group rotational experiences
  • Network and mentor with employees across the company
  • Attend professional development workshops to include: mock interviewing, resume reviews, and personal branding
  • Learn about internship opportunities for summer 2027

What you need to have:

To qualify, you must be a sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree at a 4-year accredited college or university, and plan to graduate between December 2027 and May 2028.

Our 2025 Accelerate Program will start on June 1, 2026 and last through June 12, 2026.

  • Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Business or relevant STEM related field

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $21.

To be considered for possible future employment opportunities interns must meet the full-time work eligibility requirements for any given role. Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the hourly range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual hourly rate for this role may vary by location.
