Lead Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Purpose:
Provides technical leadership for enterprise BI products by defining design and testing standards, leading architecture and reusable templates, and guiding cross-functional teams in developing reliable, scalable BI solutions using human-centered design, cloud platforms, and disciplined product testing, reliability, and change control practices.

• Leads creation of enterprise-class customer-facing BI products, templates, and best practices for design, development, documentation, and testing.
• Designs and governs scalable, efficient, and performant data models; establishes modeling standards and review practices.
• Develops technical and business requirements and best practices related to design, accessibility, and UX; ensures responsive human-centered design adoption.
• Partners with customers to document product requirements and acceptance criteria; resolves high-ambiguity requirements and prioritization decisions.
• Establishes and socializes testing standards and best practices; leads internal product testing and reliability improvements.
• Validates designs for intuitive user experience; drives UX improvements based on user testing feedback.
• Provides advanced guidance and enablement (office hours, documentation, training) and acts as escalation point for complex BI product issues.
• Participates in multiple simultaneous projects and product-oriented development teams, influencing roadmap and release quality gates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in technical data analysis/business intelligence and translating requirements into specifications required. Master's Degree Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science) may substitute for a portion of experience (up to 2 years) preferred. 5+ years Experience in relevant programming to include DAX and M languages required. 5+ years Experience in related business analysis required. 2+ years Experience in Figma or other design applications required. 3+ years Experience in healthcare preferred. 1+ years Experience in relevant programming using SQL / Python / Microsoft Azure preferred.
