About the Company

Our client is a startup helping Canadians become real estate investors through online events, bootcamps, and high-ticket coaching. They offer community support, weekly calls, and a high-touch experience, earning a reputation for trustworthiness, professionalism, and proactive communication.

About the Role

This role provides administrative and project support to senior leadership, ensuring business development initiatives are executed efficiently and priorities are organized effectively. This is not a traditional sales or commission-based role; instead, the focus is on supporting business growth through operational and strategic support.

We are looking for candidates with the right characteristics and values, as these are what make people successful here:

  • Presentable: Professional and attentive on Zoom and in all meetings; side-texting or distraction is not tolerated.

  • Resourceful: Able to figure things out independently, take notes, and solve problems without constant guidance.

  • Organized: Can track tasks, deadlines, and initiatives efficiently.

  • Speed: Think, act, and respond quickly to changing priorities.

  • Care: Cares about doing a good job, team success, impact, and customer outcomes.

Candidates who embody these five traits will thrive, regardless of past experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate calendars and prepare meetings for leadership

  • Track tasks, deadlines, and initiative progress

  • Support business development projects and research opportunities

  • Maintain trackers, notes, and documentation

  • Execute follow-ups and support team communications

  • Organize priorities and ensure leadership requests are completed

  • Demonstrate attention to detail, speed, and initiative in all tasks

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, executive support, or project coordination

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

  • Ability to track tasks, deadlines, and initiatives effectively

  • Professional approach to internal communication and project support

  • Presentable, resourceful, organized, fast, and caring—aligned with the team’s values

Operating Standards

  • Clarity: Leadership is fully informed on appointments, next steps, and context

  • Speed: Leads are contacted promptly and appointments scheduled quickly

  • Accuracy: Appointment details, scheduling links, pipelines, and KPIs are correct and up to date

  • Integrity: Conversations are professional, honest, and helpful

  • Results: Qualified calls are booked and leads convert into customers

Application Guidance

To help us get a sense of the candidate’s fit, we request a 2-3 minute Loom video covering:

  • Personal values and professional goals

  • Relevant experience supporting business development or leadership

  • How they align with our key characteristics: Presentable, Resourceful, Organized, Speed, and Care

This will allow us to screen efficiently and ensure the candidate is a strong fit before scheduling a longer interview.
