  • Analyse financial data to explain key drivers and trends, resolve complex issues, and ensure high-quality outputs
  • Train, support, and mentor junior team members and contribute to workflows improvements and scalable systems

Blinks 360 is a fast-growing Australian advisory and accounting practice (currently at $3.5M revenue) building a scalable, system-driven practice, and we're looking for a Senior Bookkeeper ready to step into a future Team Leader role.

The Role

You will play a key role in our Shared Service Unit (the production engine of a $3.5 million revenue accounting firm with close to 30 professional staff), delivering high-volume accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll, BAS, individual tax returns, financial reporting, and monthly/quarterly management reporting and analysis. You will also contribute to driving quality, insights, and continuous improvement.

As a Technical Support team member, you will:

  • Work closely with the Unit Manager to prepare and review bookkeeping, BAS, and management reports
  • Handle a number of large clients with customised management accounting requirements
  • Resolve complex issues and ensure high-quality outputs
  • Analyse financial data and explain key drivers and trends
  • Train, support, and mentor junior team members
  • Improve workflows and contribute to building scalable systems

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of Australian bookkeeping experience
  • Experience in management reporting or commercial accounting (preferred)
  • Strong skills in bookkeeping, BAS/GST, payroll, and reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
