Global Retention Manager - Health Tech Brand

£60-70k (experience dependent)

Remote working (must be based in the UK) with global coverage, some infrequent travel required

Our client is a big name in the health tech space, they don't just provide a platform; they provide a scientifically backed engine for sustained engagement. The ecosystem sits at the intersection of wearable technology, data-driven insights, and community-led motivation.

As Global Retention Manager, you will own the end-to-end retention strategy, you aren't just managing churn; you are architecting a global system that replicates success at scale.

You will be the internal expert on one core question: "What are the leading indicators of long-term partner success, and how do we automate those behaviours?" You will design the systems, journeys, and high-impact interventions that turn data into loyalty.

About this exciting brand-new role:

This is a highly cross-functional, remote role with a global remit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Framework: Own the global retention roadmap, defining KPIs and playbooks for diverse international markets and partner segments.

  • Data-Driven Interventions: Analyse system engagement (MAUs and activation rates) to identify "at-risk" behaviours and deploy scalable, automated interventions.

  • Lifecycle Architecture: Map and optimise critical lifecycle moments—from initial onboarding and habit formation to re-engagement and renewal.

  • Partner Enablement: Equip our B2B partners with the playbooks, toolkits, and best practices they need to drive user retention within their own local ecosystems.

  • Product & Behavioural Input: Act as the "Voice of Retention" in product squads, providing evidence-based input on gamification, feedback loops, and social mechanics.

  • Growth Experimentation: Design and run retention experiments with clear hypotheses, focusing on high-impact, low-complexity initiatives that drive lifetime value (LTV).

What we are looking for:

You are a commercially astute growth professional who understands that in SaaS, retention is the ultimate driver of valuation.

  • Experience: 5–8 years in Retention, Lifecycle Marketing, Product or Sales Ops, or Growth roles, ideally within a B2B2C or SaaS environment.

  • Data Literacy: You are highly comfortable navigating complex data sets to find the "story" behind user behaviour.

  • Behavioural Insight: You have a strong grasp of habit formation, engagement mechanics, or behavioural economics (e.g., Self-Determination Theory).

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You can influence Product, Data, and Sales teams to align around retention outcomes without having direct authority over them.

  • Mindset: You are a clear communicator who can simplify complex strategies and create immediate momentum in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fitness: a background in fitness isn't essential, a passion for fitness is a must
